Not yet, but it’s on our radar! Specifically, we intend to eventually offer virtual TTRPG sessions through Roll20, but it is a system we are still familiarizing ourselves with. We expect pricing to be consistent with in-person sessions, and if this is something you and your group are interested it, email jude@rollforwellness.com to be placed on a wait list, and they will contact you when we are ready to offer virtual sessions.
-
We request that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session, whenever possible. If you and your group have already paid for the session, the per player price will be refunded, minus the $15 deposit to reserve the time slot in question.
There is no penalty for short-notice (less that 24-hour) cancellations. We understand that emergencies happen, and this service is intended to be a fun way to connect, not something to stress out about.

Session Zero is a tool many GMs employ when beginning a new TTRPG adventure. This is a day when the group will come together to create their characters, discuss the upcoming adventure, and inform the GM of their safety needs as players.
Jude typically structures their Session Zero this way:
Introductions. Getting to know the players a little, learning their level of experience with TTRPGs, and finding out what they are most excited for about the game. This helps the GM plan out story beats so that each player gets what they want out of gameplay.
Characters, Settings, and Themes. This is when the GM will assist the players in creating their characters (or discuss existing characters to find ways to fit them into the story.) The group will also discuss what they want out of an adventure. What locations appeal to you? What kind of adventure do you want to play through? What kind of story do you want to tell?
Lines and Veils. For the safety and comfort of all players, everyone will provide the GM with their lines (things they absolutely do not want in their game) and veils (things they do not want to actively engage with, but that may be alluded to during the course of the game.) The GM will also provide players with a way to privately convey these needs if sharing with the group is uncomfortable.
Prologue. If time permits, the GM will walk the players through a short prologue to allow everyone a chance to test out their character and establish a reason for being part of the adventuring party. This allows us to hit the ground running at the first game session with a fully formed party.

The short answer is: it’s up to you! Your group should discuss ahead of time whether you want a long-term game or a shorter, quicker adventure.
Typically, a single adventure is a game with one major plot hook, which takes between 3-5 sessions to complete.
A campaign is a series of adventures which build on one another to create a long, sweeping epic during which your characters will have opportunities to change, grow, and level up. Some people run campaigns that last for years!

This is very flexible! For TTRPGs, the sweet spot tends to be between 3-6 players. This allows for a balanced party, while also ensuring that there will be plenty of time for everyone involved to feel like they made a meaningful contribution to the session.
For board game nights, the more the merrier! Board games are typically created for a specific number of people, but it’s not uncommon in larger groups to have different games at different tables so everyone can play.

Yes it can! 3 hours is pretty common for a play session, but if you and your group are looking to meet longer, it can definitely be arranged. If you would like to schedule a session that is longer than 3 hours, please email Jude directly to discuss. The rate is $5 per hour per player, so a 6 hour session would be $30 total per player.
