Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in an MSW Program

  • Interest in clinical mental health, community engagement, and advocacy

  • Commitment to the NASW Code of Ethics and social justice values

  • Cultural humility and respect when engaging diverse populations

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

  • Commitment to accessibility and inclusion in all aspects of care

What to Expect:

  • Weekly individual & dyad supervision

  • Weekly group supervision

  • Biweekly staff meetings

Clinical Practice

  • Individual therapy with clients of diverse needs and identities

  • Ethical and legal documentation standards

  • Clinical consultation and team collaboration

  • Optional: co-facilitate D&D therapy and support groups

  • Integrate narrative therapy, ACT, EMDR, or gaming modalities

  • Community Engagement

  • Plan and facilitate inclusive events & wellness workshops

  • Develop psychoeducational programming

  • Gather and analyze community feedback

  • Foster affirming environments for all members

Program Development

  • Contribute to nonprofit program arm development

  • Grant research and impact data collection

  • Support accessible, culturally responsive curricula

  • Assist with event planning and volunteer coordination

Advocacy & Outreach

  • Research best practices for marginalized populations

  • Social media and blog content for mental health awareness

  • Build community partner relationships

  • Design and distribute affirming resource guides
